IT'S NOT OVER!!!

Good morning Readers,

How has your week been??? Mine has been great so far. God has been my strenght so far and I know He will see you and I through it in Jesus name.

Few people might have know that now that I love listening to music. I think it is one of the way God speaks to me. It might be b'cos I minister in songs :-) . Anyways, this morning God is speaking to me through It Ain't Over by Maurette Brown . I really feel this song is actually on-time. At the stage of my life, I have so many decisions to make (career, goal, ministry, etc). I have been asking God for direction for this aspect of my life. The lyrics of the song is below :

I know the odds look stacked against you
And it seems there's no way out
I know the issue seems unchangeable
And that there's no reason to shout
But the impossible is God's chance
To work a miracle, a miracle
So just know

It ain't over until God says it's over
It ain't over until God says it's done
It ain't over until God says it's over
Keep fighting until your victory is won

He never said it would be easy
But you're a winner in the end
Jesus defeated all your enemies
Way before the fight began
But the impossible is God's chance
To work a miracle, a miracle
So just know

It ain't over until God says it's over...

Yes, at the stage in my life...there seems to be way out. Sometimes, I want to stay in bed all day think about it, shout all day long. However, this song is reminding me that I have a father who love and cares for me so much. I know my miracle time is now. As Jesus defeated his enemies and conquered, I will conquer in Jesus name. Iyinoluwa, remember what the Bible says...You are more than a conqueror though Jesus Christ (Romans 8:37). You need to trust in God with ALL your heart, don't rely on your understanding...He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). You better put your confidence in God and in Him alone (Psalm 118:9) because those that put there mind on God are blessed (Jeremiah 17:7). It is only in God that your needs are met and the lines are fallen in pleasant places for you (Psalm 16:5-6). So Who shall I fear??? No one, because if God is for you...no one (nothing) can stand against you (Psalm 27:1). Be rest assured that the 'God of angels of armies is always by your side'. Finally, remember that all will work out for your own good and you will fulfill God's purpose for your life.

You might be facing a situation or challenge where there seems to be no way or no one to help you. Don't give up. Keep believing, keep confessing his promises over that situation and keep praying because your set time is near. You will not miss the appointed time for your breakthrough in Jesus name (Amen).

I was led to share this and encourage someone through this post.

Have a great day!
Stay blessed

The Young Lady in Waiting (Part 3)

Hello Readers,

Happy Mid-Week (Wednesday), I believe your week is going well. Mine has been good so far, just been busy lately now that I am taking a course online but God has been faithful. I don't really know about your side, but it has been so hot here and it will continue for the rest of the week. Well, I am grateful to God (not complaining) for every season :-)

I am sure you have been blessed through the 1st & 2nd part of the post (The Young Lady in Waiting Part 1 and Part 2). By God's grace I will be writing the concluding part today!!!! I'm thankful to God for the strength and the privilege to write and minister to you all through these posts. As you read, I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide and minister to you as read in Jesus name (Amen).

  • During the waiting period, there will be a lot of temptations and given-up situations but don't give up
  • Wait patiently for the Lord and he will answer you at his (God's) appointed time for you. Psalm 40: 1 ; KJV  I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 Peter 3:8-9; NIV  But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
  • Don't believe any of the devil's lies but depend on God's word for conviction. Romans 12:2; NIV Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
  • Don't compromise your Godly standard with the world standard. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17; KJV Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
  • Remember that God surely desire the best for you. Jeremiah 29:11; AMP  For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome
  • Keep your body pure i.e. no sex before marriage (Yes, I really meant it). Just like the way you can't eat a fruit unripe, so don't have sex before marriage. Romans 12:1. KJV I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Hebrews 13:4; NIV Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral
  • Don't allow fear and insecurity to steal/take away your joy. Insecurity results into worry, lies and frustration Matthew 6: 34; KJV Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Fear brings torments 1 John 4:18; KJV There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
  • Your waiting period is when God is preparing you for the greater works ahead & he (God) wants you to be perfect for your future "Mr. Right"  for females or "Miss Right" for males. Psalm 37:3-7; NIV Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.
  • Finally, your circumstances; your past or even geographical location will not disturb/hinder what has God purposed for you.
Remember that God has the best in plan for you and he will not withhold any good thing from you (Psalm 84:11). God will hear your cry and he will remember you. It is well with you in Jesus name (Amen)

Enjoy the rest of your week!
Stay Blessed

The Young Lady in Waiting (Part 2)

Happy Sunday Readers,

How was your Sunday service?? I believed that you had an awesome weekend and service today. Well, I didn't go to my home church today (I was strong) but I went to church online (Thank God for technology). I will be sharing what I learned from the message later during the week.

Three days ago, I shared with you the lessons learnt from a book titled "The Young Lady in Waiting: Developing the heart of a princess". You can get your own hard-copy or eBook version of the book from this link  The Young Lady in Waiting. This book is not for anyone young lady but for a young lady who want to follow God's guidelines for her life. I pray that the Holy Spirit will minister & instruct you today as you read in Jesus name (Amen).

Just a re-cap from the last post (you can find it here The Young Lady in waiting-PART 1 )

  • Getting involved in the things of the kingdom is the best thing you can ever do (1 Corinthians 7:34; KJV There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
  • You only get full satisfaction when you get involved in the service of God.
  • Your waiting period is an opportunity for you to use your God-given gifts. Everyone created has a God-given gift(s) hidden in them. It is either you've discovered them or that you haven't discovered them yet. Your gift might range from hospitality, teaching, giving encouragement to people, prayer (intercessory), counseling, providing service, listening, rendering help and many more. It is important for everyone to locate and use their God-given gift. [My prayer for you is that you will locate your gift(s) and use it for God's glory in Jesus name Amen]
  • Your motive must be right while using your gifts and attending singles' event. A single lady or guy can attend all the single conferences, seminars, conferences but if your number one motive is to meet "Mr. Right" then you might be disappointing if you don't achieve this purpose. All I am saying is, have a spiritual mindset/perspective while attending those events. Don't be carnally minded by spending more hours thinking on what to wear and forgetting the spiritual purpose of it. Sometimes, you can seek God's face, pray for God to lead you and leave the rest to Him to perfect it.
  • Forget any anxious thoughts or questions that are based on fears but place your eyes on Jesus (Psalm 121:1-2; KJV) I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
(Philippians 4:6-7; KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
  • Draw near to God during the waiting period. Spend quality time in his word, make positive confessions, believe in His word regarding your marital life, spend time in prayer and seek God's face. (Romans 10:17; KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God
  • Develop your inner man (your spiritual life).  You don't want to base your marriage only on beauty while neglecting your spirit being. Your beauty should come from within because "A marriage based on outward beauty can lead to immortality". (1 Peter 3:3-4; NIV) Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.  Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
Bottom-line: Don't spend time developing your outward beauty while forgetting what God has called you to be. Seek first God's kingdom and he will add His increase to it.

Stay focused, I will be back soon to share the final post on this topic with you.

Have a great week ahead!
Stay Blessed

The Young Lady in Waiting (Part 1)

Hello readers,

I am back again to write, but this time I will be sharing lessons from what I learnt from a book I read. Well, recently I developed interest in reading books. If you know me before, you will know that I don't read(I am not saying I am now a guru/Oga/a Pro in reading book #lol). A friend of mine has told me since to read books so I guess now he will be proud of me that I am getting better :-) . Since I am single young lady, well I decided to pick up books along relationship line in order to gain more knowledge and insights. As a christian, I only read books written by christian authors (I can't relate to your book if it is not based on God's principles).

Enough of my ranting #lol, I read a book titled: "The young Lady in waiting: developing the heart of a princess" by Jackie Kendall & Debby Jones (check Christianbook.com or Amazon.com) and It was a mind-blowing book. I will be sharing few points I learn from the book with you, I am trusting in the Holy Spirit to teach you himself in Jesus name (Amen).

  • "Happy are those people (single/married) who discovered that happiness is not found in marriage but in a right relationship with God". (One of my best quote from the book)
  • Therefore, it is only God that can complete a man or woman. It is not her job, finance, not even marriage. According to (Colossians 2:9-10; KJV) For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power
  • Your life partner is suppose to complement (enhances) the works that Jesus has done on you. This is the reason the person God has prepared for you must fit into His(God's) purpose for you.
  • After the completion of God is done in you, then you can be the right help-meet. (Genesis 2:18; KJV) And the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper meet for him.
  • A young woman or man will feel incomplete not because you are single but you are not in full relationship with God (the one who first showed you his love) (John 3:16;KJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He should you his great love by dying for the sin he never committed. (John 15:13; KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  (Romans 5:8, KJV) But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
Bottomline: Your single/waiting period is not for you in cry and ask God the "why me" questions but to love Him(Jesus/God) like he loved you.

I believed God has blessed you from these post. Well, it is not yet over because this is just part one. Stay focused, I will be back soon to share more with you.

Note: I am preaching to myself through this post, so I encourage you to share with your friends.

Stay blessed!

Yay!!!!!!!!!! It is another thanksgiving Sunday

Hello readers,
Let me say, Happy New month of July!

I know I have been here a while ago (May God deliver me from the spirit of procrastination). I have missed writing here o. All the glory to God for everything that has happened in previous months. A lot has happened to me, thank God for them all (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Now that today is thanksgiving Sunday (every first Sunday of the month). I am here to count my every blessings o.

When I was here the last time, I was a year younger but thank God for adding another year to my life. My friends in school actually organized a surprise b'day dinner for me...love them so much. Wow, I can't believe I am that old #jokes
 That food taste so good!

Also, I collected another academic year in school. I am alive and well as well.
Another drastic change, I went natural (did my big chop on May 22nd...i think) and I have been loving my hair since then...so much work but thank God o.
Relaxed hair

transition period

Here comes my natural hair pix

There are other testimonies that words cannot say all but I will sum it all up in a Christian Hymn: Count your blessing

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Refrain

Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing as the days go by.

Refrain

When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;
Count your many blessings. Wealth can never buy
Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.

Refrain

So, amid the conflict whether great or small,
Do not be disheartened, God is over all;
Count your many blessings, angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

Refrain

I am counting my blessings for what he has done, he is doing and what he will still do.
Thank you Jesus!

Checking the time, it is quite late now. Going to sleep, I have to be up in few hours for church to thank Jesus for the 2nd half of the year. I believe God that is will be a glorious one and God will shower our lives with blessings in Jesus name.

Stay blessed!
