Happy New Month. I know (it's coming late, but it is better late than never). Wow, this year is ending already...just like that! It seems like yesterday that we started the year. In everything, I am grateful to God for 2014 (through the storms, trials & I'm counting my many blessings). This year isn't over yet! I am confidence that God still have a lot in stock for us. I pray that the promises and blessings remaining before the year is over will not pass us by in Jesus name (Amen).
Merry Christmas

Yay! It's the Christmas season. I love Christmas (especially Christmas songs & movies). I can spend the whole day doing nothing but either listening to the songs or watching the movies (a loyal fan to Hallmark Channel...lol). However, I have been thinking and reflecting on what Christmas really means to me. To some people, it's about the songs; caroling; the movies; the gift; Christmas shopping; the special Christmas dishes or even the time spent with loved ones. Don't get me wrong, those are good reasons to love the Christmas session but what about days before Christmas or after Christmas.
I won't go in detail about the meaning of Christmas or the reason why we celebrate it on December 25th...that isn't my concern here. I want us to understand that Christmas (Christ Mass) is all about Jesus. To me, it's about celebrating the birth of Jesus. We shouldn't forget that ever irrespective of what we are doing this season and beyond. As we all celebrate Jesus, remember His names: Emmanuel (God with us); Prince of Peace (no matter what's going on around us, our mind is at rest because He is in control); Everlasting Father; etc.
It is about his unconditional & unending love towards us. So, as we enjoy our time with family and loved ones, please remember those who are without their family and those who are either ill or don't have access to daily needs. Show someone love this season: it might be giving some food to that shelter in your neighborhood, giving a warm coat to someone who doesn't have, visiting an orphanage home. Whichever way it is, let us remember to emulate the lifestyle of Jesus while he was on earth.
Have a great & merry Christmas!
