Thank You Lord

I just have to share this song with you. This week have been so funny because everywhere I turned to (twitter, Facebook, church message, friend's post on Facebook  in one way or the other talked about praising God for what He has done. We (including me) take this for granted every time but I am using this medium to say thank You Lord for everything. The good and not good part, I am very grateful for everything because I know the glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. Even the Bible says, Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord (Psalm 150:6). Like someone once said, "you can pray amiss but you cannot praise God amiss". Words are too short to express my heart of appreciation to you o Lord but all I have to say is THANK YOU LORD!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sharing this song by Lara George titled Dansaki

Praise God and see Him work in your life!

Stay Blessed!

Eye Opening

I have grown up in a society that believes that your parent consent in marriage is very important. It is important for your parents to agree and give you a go ahead on the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Whenever I talk to people out my culture or country it is hard to explain that parent consent in marriage important and it is scriptural. I actually thought it is a norm or tradition but it is also spiritual. THANK GOD I FOUND THIS :)

My daily devotion for today in "Open Heavens" was talking about the life of Samson in (Judges 14:1-4). How he was destroyed because he choose wrongly. His parents warmed him no to marry a wife from the "uncircumcised Philistines" but He ignored his parent's advice. He married wrongly and he finally was put in prison/captives in the camp of his enemy. The wife he chooses destroyed his destiny and he did not finish well. I usually hear elders/parents tell their child to marry God's chosen because his/her destiny depends on the partner. Samson disobeyed his parent. The Bible says Honor thy father and thy mother that your days will be long. He didn't honor his father nor his mother's advice and his days wasn't long either (Ephesians 6:1-3). Wow, ever since I have been reading the story of Samson; I've never saw the strong like I did today.

The word of God is mighty, living, and good for our development. It is the greatest book anyone can ever read. Now, I have a spiritual backing to having one's parent consent in Marriage. You can read Judges 14-16 for more understanding. I thank God for revealing this to me. I pray for all singles out there that you will not chose wrongly and you will fulfill God's purpose for your life in Jesus name (Amen).

Stay Blessed!

God is speaks...there's no doubt about it

So I woke up today to do my devotion from Open Heavens devotional book and the title is NEGLECTING THIS DOOR? In summary, today's reading is talking about the door of prayer. One thing that got stuck on my mind is "A prayer-less Christian is not only powerless but also a misrepresentation of the Christian faith will end up a victim and will struggle in His walk with God". Considering what I did all through yesterday, I was really moved and I did ask God for the power to prayer b'cos I know I'm weak in that. I definitely He has has answered me because I did ask without doubting it in my mind (Matthew 21:22).

After doing my devotion and praying, I log into facebook...there's a message. Checking the message a friend on facebook sent this:

“Your heart is the engine room of your destiny.
It is the cooking pot of man’s destiny.
You can’t weigh before God more than your heart.
Your heart is your actual size.
Your heart determines your place and your part.
God weighs your heart to measure your part and to determine your place.
God rates you according to your heart".

I read this message over and over again but I kept asking myself, why is this message coming today? Why today? Why now? I didn't tell you anything about me or what I did yesterday. There I got to know that God is saying something to me. I should my life, heart especially. Yesterday, I did committed a sin that I have told God that I'm no longer will do it but I kept on doing it months and months after. But I've rededicated my life to God, no matter how hard or tough it might be...I'm saying Old things have gone and all things is becoming new today. I'm moving, moving, forward!!!!!!!

Another notification from Daughters of Destiny (DOD) on Facebook so went to check, then I saw this article. As I was going through the article my eyes caught this statement:
“…how can you now describe your relationship with Him (Christ) as you read this article? What level is your relationship with God?”

I said another one today again. Then, I know God has a reason for this occurrence happening all in the same day. So God spoke to me three different times in the same day less than 3hrs.
If you are in a position and you think God doesn’t speak. Well, the good news is that He does speak and he can choose to speak to you through any channel, one just need a listening hear. I thank God for listening hear today and I receive the grace to walk and move forward in Jesus name. I pray that God will open our eyes to see and hear to hear Him in Jesus name.

Stay blessed
